Seminars and Conferences: IEA has been concentrating in conducting seminars and conferences ever since its inception. It has coordinated all the biggest evangelistic events in Orissa such as Gospel Crusades for Rev. Peter Youngran (Canada), Dr. D. G. S. Dinakaran (India). IEA has conducted scores of seminars and conferences and the most significant are All Orissa Pastor Conference for 1000 Pastors in 1992 and Orissa Congress on unreached People Groups in 1995. We have developed the reputation of being specialized in this area.

To name a few: All Orissa Pastors’ Seminar for 1000 Pastors with Dr. Eril Edwardson (Sweden), All Orissa Leadership Seminar with Dr. Luis Bush (USA), Orissa Congress on Unreached People Groups with Dr. John Robb (USA) are the large scale conferences conducted in the past years. The All Orissa Pastors’ Conferences with Rev. Dr. Sam Kamalesan Bishop Joab Lohara has also been very significant. The objective of these seminars and conferences is to teach from God’s word and to equip Pastors and Leaders to be effective in their respective ministries.

Orissa Leadership Seminar: Orissa Leadership Seminar took place at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, Nov.10-12, 2010 under the leadership of IEA. Nearly 250 pastors and evangelists from six missions of Orissa participated in this conference and received sound teachings from 03 overseas teachers and Orissa Mission leaders as well. It was very refreshing for the field workers.

Dalit Seminar: Dalit is a big issue in India to-day. Many people are involved in Dalit empowerment efforts. So are we. Hence we sponsored a Dalit Seminar which was held on 14th August, 2010 at CYSD, Bhubaneswar. About 70 Christian Dalit Leaders and activists attended the seminar. A couple of non-christian Dalit leaders also were present. The discussion was based on Justice Ranganath Mishra recommendation which recommends Govt benefits for Dalit Christians and Muslims. Discussion was meaningful. It was appreciated by all.

Youth Conference 2009: Vision India Youth Conference, Nov. 16th – 20th, 2009 that took place at the Barabati Stadium Cuttack was a mega event. This was organised by the united efforts and cooperation of many missions located mostly in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. More than 1000 youths attended. IEA played a major role in assisting in logistics with the Leadership of Rev. Dr. Parichha and IEA staff. Rev. Dr. Parichha took a session on “Theology of Persecution” and also presided over an evening session. Moved by the Holy Spirit hundreds of youth made decision to follow Christ in their daily need.

Bandhu Seva and Partnership Seminars held in partnership with Interdev and IMA on 30th & 31st October, 2006 are also considered noteworthy.

We hope to conduct many more seminars and conferences for Pastors, Evangelists, Mission Leaders, Church leaders, and young people in the coming years for their spiritual upliftment and renewal.
