IEA is reaching some of the most unreached areas and People Groups in Orissa and active in Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Nowrangpur, Gajapati, Phulbani and Sundergarh districts. About 110 churches have been established as a result of hard labor of field missionaries. We have 22 concrete church buildings of 20’x40’ size which accommodates 250-300 people. The rest of the congregations are meeting in thatched houses and homes. Please pray for church buildings for all these needy congregations. A Church building of 20’x40’ costs Rs.2,50,000.00 (US $5680.00). We urgently need 10 church buildings. You could partly or fully share in this budget.

Prayer mobilization:
Prayer mobilization is another area IEA emphasizes. We are making special efforts to mobilize prayer for Orissa. We have been printing 30-DAYS PRAYER booklet for the four years in Oriya and distributing to missions, churches, prayer groups and individuals. The objective is to mobilize prayer for the Muslim world and Orissa among whom there is no Christian witness. IEA conducted several “ Prayer Seminars” in the past years. We believe Orissa will be transformed through intensive prayer. Prayer is a must if we want to see God in action in Orissa. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their Lord.” (II Chronicles 7:14)
